Clayton County police have arrested 23-year-old Aamirr Philpot and charged him with rape, false imprisonment and aggravated sodomy for robbing and raping women he met on social media websites at gunpoint.

Sgt. Scott Hughes of the Clayton County Police Department said "Once he (Philpot) made contact with the females and gained their trust, he would arrange to meet them at a location and when they arrived, he would rape and rob them," .

In an attempt to save his own life, a worker at a Wendy's restaurant in Savannah, GA shot and killed one of two robbery suspects. The worker was cleaning the restaurant after closing hours when the two armed robbers forced him to a back office and took money.When the robbers left the restaurant, the worker walked outside with his own weapon.
